Traffic signs deal with Lantra for new learning management solution
Traffic has signed a deal with awarding body and sector skills council specialists Lantra to develop an online learning management solution.
The solution will offer a wide range of courses for both sector and non-sector marketplaces, enabling professionals to learn continuously and flexibly throughout their careers.
Lantra is a nationally recognised awarding organisation, with over 40 years' experience of developing land and environmental training and development. Training course specialisms include animal health and welfare, operating plant and machinery and firearms use.
The learning solution will be fully editable, enabling Lantra to create standalone courses, as well as supplementary modules to complement practical training. The first courses for release will include;
- Rodent Control on Farms
- Responsible & Effective Control of Commensal Rodents
- Litter Picking
Commenting on the new learning management solution, Andy Bolton, Business Development Manager, Lantra said:
"We are keen to make career-long learning as accessible and flexible as possible so it made sense to investigate an online solution. After speaking with Traffic, we were confident that they had the experience and technical knowledge to develop an intuitive and future-proofed platform. From a commercial perspective, the solution will help reduce our operating costs and create additional revenue streams for both Lantra and our training partners".
