The brief

For over 30 years, Groundwork UK has been building stronger communities by improving green spaces and helping people back into work.

As a registered charity, Groundwork's funding is partially generated by donations from the public and organisations.

Looking to inject fresh impetus into its fundraising strategy, Groundwork asked Traffic to create a new fundraising pack to encourage people to organise events and raise money.

The solution

We presented a range of ideas to encourage people to be creative with their fundraising events, from sponsorship posters to branded paper cups for ice cream stalls and plant sales.

Once the concepts were agreed, we created a suite of supporting information including an A-Z of fundraising events and a fact sheet highlighting how fundraisers' money helps to enhance people's lives and communities.


The packs have since been posted out to thousands of budding fundraisers across the UK with events ranging from sponsored skydives to three-legged football matches!
